Ok so last weekend the 5th of March 2011 Charl (www.pretography.com) and I left home to shoot the wedding of Chris & Mandy at Skilpadvlei. It was extremely hot at times and being a photographer especially shooting weddings in Cape Town's summer weather it can sometimes take allot out of a person. Never the less,we got to were Mandy was getting dressed and O MAN,did she look amazing! Mandy's make-up was done by Adeline Carstens and was flawless! Engagement Photo Shoot - Charlane & Geoff

On Saturday Charl and I headed of to Bloemendal Wine Estate to shoot and witness the wedding of Monique & Robert.

Monique is every photographers dream and not once did Charl or I have to suggest things like poses or anything to her,she's a born "model",and a very beautiful bride!

We did some shots at her sister's home in Plattekloof Cape Town before heading of to the Fire Department in Durbanville.....where the guys at the Fire Department were super friendly and in awe of this bride hanging off the fire truck and posing with some of their gear :)

Robert & Monique said their vows and off we went to Bloemendal were we also did some shots in the vineyards etc.

Robert & Monique....thank you very much for choosing us to capture this special day! You guys are super awesome and we had a fabulous time with the 2 of you!

We wish you loads and loads of happiness for the many more years to come.

The 3 Pretorius sisters!

I bought myself the Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens last week and just had to try it out in the studio! I just love how sharp it is. My models our 3 girls Cameron,Marche and Leah were more than happy to smile for the camera.(my son Luke were far to busy recking the whole house to also join in the fun.....LOL,but that"s probably what a 16month old baby boy does.......EXPLORE!

My husband Charl http://www.pretography.wordpress.com/ and I also shot Monique & Robert's wedding at Bloemendal Wine Estate on Saturday,and I shot the entire wedding with my new little "baby".I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the lens.

On Saturday Adeline and the ladies arrived at my studio to have some photo's taken for Adeline's new venture....Adeline Bridal & Event Make-Up.
