Wedding of Jacobus & Hilica - Rawesonville

This wedding was absolutely fabulous. Hilica and Jacobus are both very very down to earth people and made myself and my husband feel as if we've known them for years.

The wedding took place in Rawesonville......the sunset was amazing,the people were happy,what more does a photographer need to capture these beautiful memories.

Good luck for the future Hilica and Jacobus,we had an absolute blast at your wedding.

Wedding of Danie & Hanlie - Blouberg Cape Town

Danie and Hanlie's wedding ceremony took place on the beach in Blouberg. The wind was blowing furiously that day,but never the less. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was held at the Blue Peter Hotel.

My husband and I was the photographers for this special day,and here are some of the photo's I took as SECOND shooter.

Maternity Photo Shoot - Melanie & Jaco

Melanie and Jaco came to my studio last week to have some maternity photo's taken of the proud parents to be. Melanie is expecting a baby boy in a few weeks from now and I will also be doing the couples new born shoot when baby boy Coetzee makes his appearance.

On-Location Family Photo Shoot - Adriaan's Family

Natasha and I have know each other for many years. We were in school together and a few months ago I was the photographer at her mother's wedding too. It was nice to see all the family again after not being in touch for so long.

Natasha phoned me last week and asked if I could come over to their home and take some photo's of her Patrick and their beautiful daughter Shaina.

I met the Adriaan family at their home last week and this is how the shoot went.

Meet the twins Blane & Aiden (6 week's old)

I did Bronwen & Shaun's maternity photo's in studio about 10 weeks ago.
I must say when I saw Bronwen I almost fell on my back. I could not believe that this twin carrying lady I saw 10 weeks ago looked so absolutely stunning!
The shoot was so much fun and we had a fabulous time laughing and just getting the 2 "models" Blane and Shaun to open and close their eyes at the same time.
Blane is the slightly bigger twin and Aiden the smaller baby.

Some Time Out

I just had to share some of what we experienced this weekend.
Charl (www.pretography.com) and I spent 2 nights at the Taj Hotel in Cape Town and what an experience.
We were wined and dined,breakfast in bed and spent the whole of Saturday walking around in beautiful Cape Town.
A well deserved break away it was!!!!!
Thank you to the staff of the Taj Hotel in Cape Town who made us feel like royalty!
*Big thank you to my good friend Elana who had some champagne sent to our room and for organizing a very special 2 day stay at the Taj.....MUCH LOVE!!*

Maternity Shoot - Hanelle & Stoffel

Meet Hanelle and husband Stoffel. Hanelle is pregnant with their first child and a very bubbly person. Stoffel was uncomfortable (as most men are) at the beginning of the shoot,but later actually enjoyed it - I HOPE??:)

I will be doing the couples new born shoot as well as soon as little Lize grace us with her presence.

It's my Birthday!

Today is my birthday and I am super blessed to be surrounded by so many good positive things and people in my life.

This is to say thank you to all of those extra special people that make me feel like one AWESOME wife,mother and friend.

Thank you my Father for keeping your protective hands over me and my family and for always giving me strength to keep going and be the best at what you want me to be.

Life is to short to NOT live it,and that's what I'm doing...............I'm living it!!!!!!

A big shout out and thank you to all my clients and people for supporting me and checking in on my blog! MUCH LOVE!

This week I'm in idle mode and just finishing off some editing work on Hanelle & Stoffel's maternity shoot photo's and then my hubby and I will be off on Friday to a romantic birthday weekend away..........so excited about that!
